Linden, NJ |
NJ-based indie rock alternative band, RainCrowd, announces the release of their new upcoming single entitled, “Can’t We All Just Get Along?". |
The single will also be released in a benefit album project by Producer, Ted Reyes (Production Director, ViacomCBS). The proceeds of the album will be donated to the Stop AAPI Hate center (https://stopaapihate.org). |
The song embodies the band’s awareness of current racial issues facing our society, which has affected the lives of many. The lyrics were written by Chot Ulep (bass/vocals) and are very candid. It reminds the listener to be positive, with lines such as, “Spread love, instead of the prejudice”, and "Look at life with great possibilities”. The music is a collaboration of the band. Originally written by Ulep with most chords in minor scale, Nico Capistrano (guitars/vocals) re-wrote the score to keep the focus on major chords so the music would sound uplifting and bright. Tonyo Valbuena (drums/vocals) maintained his steady-beat approach with a hint of playful hi-hats to serve as mid-section cues. Mixed and engineered by Capistrano, they decided a 90’s vibe sound to reflect the band’s original roots. |
The target release date is scheduled for May 8, 2021 and the MP3 is now available free to all verified media professionals by request. |
