Two years after a long break, NJ-based indie rock band, RainCrowd, preps for recording multiple albums in the next few years.

The group said they are reusing some of the old hardwares and softwares they used in the past but upgrading most of them to newer versions. In the previous albums, Nico Capistrano (lead guitarist) headed all of the engineering tasks, except for the song, "Inflationary Gap", which Chot Ulep (bassist / lead vocals) jokingly says that's the first and last time he's mixing and mastering a song. "I may know how to write songs, but Niks is the engineering genius of the band", he adds.

The band is also considering trying out different professional studio locations both in New Jersey and New York City where Ulep conducts most of his business as a consultant.

"Dave (rhythm guitarist) just got a new effects pedal but I don't know if Niks will let him use it for recording, " mentions Ulep.

Asked what album titles they're considering and Ulep said they're still playing around with number titles like the last two albums, "XXI" and "SSOS", the latter being the reverse image of 2022 as all the songs in that album were recorded during that year.

No promoters have been mentioned as far as spreading the word out but they said college radio is still in their to do list, as well as hopefully getting into the commercial radio playlists.
